It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Some more not so great pic's I'm sharing on my Christmas decor, but like I said on my last post it sooo hard to take good pic's on one good foot :-( oh well I hope you get an idea how it looks, these pic's don't do the decor an justice, but I hope you find it pretty....

I love to collect Christmas ornaments but sadly this year I was not able.....




I made this mantle swag, it's really beautiful, but sadly my pic's don't to it justice ;-(




I added lights to the swag....

A little Christmas!

Hello friends, most of you know I took a fall and I have been babying my poor ankle, but I wanted to share some pitiful pic's of my dining room dressed for Christmas, sorry for the poor pic's but it's sooo hard trying to be still and steady on one foot, but hopefully you can get an idea how it looks!




My centerpiece is simple, but elegant...




Notice my pretty host and hostess chairs, found them while on vacation in Florida for a great deal, only 300 bucks for two of them, woot woot what a score...lol....I just love them and the fabric is a pretty soft green silk....




Now these pretty caine back french chairs, were free, yes you read it correct freeee wooooo weeee my moms friend was moving to Florida and could not take them with her and ask me if I wanted all 6 of them and how could I refuse, the other two are waiting for me to get them reupholstered...




My little tree on top of my buffet, I decorated it in a candy theme...




The dining room table is a french vintage table that was also a gift this summer from the hubby ;-) I have been wanting a french dining table for a long time now, so I'm soooo over joy with my new old table ;-) funny how it all blended well together, some things are just meant to be...




In this pic you can see the french pretty chairs I had the upholstered in a pretty pink silk, notice the beautiful curvy legs on my dining room table, soooo pretty! I really love how my dining room is turning out.

Holiday blues!

Hello friends, I hope your having fun decorating for this wonderful time of year! It's a time to be happy and thankful for all that our sweet Lord has giving us! And with that being said, I'm thankful to be alive you see my friends, I took a
bad fall from my attic, yes you read it correctly I fell from my attic and thank God all I received from my fall is a busted ankle and tons of bruises! And ohhh my the pain was beyond anything I have felt in my life, at the emergency room the doctors and nurses told me to play Lotto cause I was one lucky Chica!! Lol




Another thing I'm thankful for is that I had already decorated my home for the holidays, but never got to start christmas shopping...
Ohhhh well all in good time, I'm just happy I lived to tell this story...

Tis the season!

Seems like Christmas is creeping up on us, time moves so fast almost to fast for me....

Glinda My witchy wreath!

I was shopping around on ebay,etsy for a new halloween wreath for my front door, oh my was I shocked at the high prices eck! I fell in love with one similar to the one you see below, so I decided I would give it a try and make my own, I think it turned out pretty cute, what do you think??




I added pretty sprakley ruffles to her hat...




I just adore her cute legs ;-)




Cute spider bow for her hat...




Some more ruffles for her skirt......

Minnie goes to the halloween ball....

I just had to share with you all my latest project, I think she turned out just darling' when I found her she was your normal plan Jane orange, I felt she needed some jazzing up and so the make over began....
First I painted her pink of course,cause me being me will always love pink...
Then I added loads of glitter a girl can never shine and sparkle enough at the ball...lol...
I made her pretty bow then her gorgeous fluffy ruffle glitter collar and now she is all ready for the halloween ball, geez I hope she meets her prince Micky there :-)

Witchy boots!!!

Hi ghouls, glad you came for a spell.....
For the halloween ball I needed a great pair of shoes...
What is this old ghoul to do, what to do.....hummmm.....jazz up an old pair.....


Pretty bows.....

And I'm all set to spin the night away.....heeheeeee....


Had these pair of wired witchy boots, this year I decided to add a bit of glam to them, so I made the bows, added the pearls and whalaaaa ready for the halloween ball,for now they will just sit pretty by my fireplace!

Halloween ball!!!

Hi friends thanks for taking the time to drop by, today I wanted to share a really cute pumpkin I transformed sorry no before pic's I get so excited and carried away, that I forget to take the before pic's.... Ohhh well no need to dwell...lol....




When out shopping the other day I spotted this pumpkin, it was your basic orange color and only 6 bucks, so me being me could not resist passing up on this bargain, and it lights up too whoohooo ;)




Once home out came the pink paint and brush! Lol....




I had to of course add bling to jazz her all up, once the paint was dried.....




Added loads of glitter, and a pretty bow also a ruffle collar.....




Now she is ready for the halloween ball....

Hi peeps don't know about everyone else but I love the fall season, the smell in the air is wonderful to me so crisp and clean and woodsy, just so refreshing!
I decorate inside my home with pinks on the inside....
But I love the fall colors outside my front door, it's like God took a paint brush and went to town painting with beautiful colors ;)
Such a wonderful time to go on nature walks, hot coco and a good book and just exhale.
I hope everyone is enjoying this time of year...
