Touches of Christmas.....

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I sure did :-) and so now I'm all done with my Christmas decor, I'm sharing just a few pics with you my friends....has anyone finish Christmas shopping yet???? errrr I have not even gotten started...bad me.......oh well soon I'll join the rat race.....on with the pics......

Simple fall Mantle!

My fall mantle this year is simply,soft with a touch of sparkle....white and gold pumpkins grace my mantle with cute squirrels gifted to me from a very dear friend....

Fall centerpiece....

A simple fall centerpiece.....





It's actually a wreath I purchased last year at Home Goods.....





Place a burlap pumpkin my sweet hubby gifted me from Joanns fabric I added the pretty glittery bow.....





Love all the sparkle and shine it adds to my dining room table....

Falling for Fall.

This is a sweet pumpkin I hand painted myself, after dreaming of owning a Mckenzie Child pumpkin but just could not and would not spend 90 bucks on one, I decided to just go ahead a give it a try, I mean really how hard could it be I told myself....I recycled the pumpkin that use to be pink! With paint I already had on hand, so for zero dollars this is what I came up with....








I'm really loving the way it turned out so much so I painted a second one :-)








This beauty is sitting pretty on my mantle, I just place her on one of my urns added some beaded garland and ta da done.....simple and elegant....








This sweet squirrel are a gift form my very dear friend she gifted them to me last fall! I have two of them and I just adore them, sooooo sweet looking love the faux tails on them...toooooo cute.....well I thank you for stopping by.....wishing you all a Happy Fall.

A little Easter Decorating!

Have you start decorating for Easter yet? Hummmm I think I have been in a little bit of a rut.....I have added a couple of touches for the up coming Easter holiday but nothing major....




I purchase this beautiful bowl at Home Goods along with the pretty Easter eggs.....


Love the raised details around the bowl.....


And just look at those gorgeous handles...you can't tell by my poor pic's but the bowl is pretty large....


The Easter eggs look like marble but they are glass.....so pretty....love the bling around the top of them ;-)......


Did you notice the cute little bunny? Can't remember where I purchase him but doesn't he look cute in the middle of the bowl? Well that it for my little Easter decorating...so looking forward to viewing how you ladies have been decorating for Easter.....

New lamp!

I recently purchase the lamp you see below from Lamps Plus, I have been on the hunt for a french candlestick lamp, but on my small budget I just could not afford the higher end lamps :( until I came across this one from Lamps Plus and it was 20% off wooohoooo.....but the lamp shade was not what I wanted, I had my heart set on what is called a shield shade, browsing on ebay I came across what I was looking for and at a reasonable price too.......


Sadly the shade was to small...so I came up with a solution....


By adding a long fringe trim I was able to not only dress up the shade but make it look like the shade belong with the lamp ;-)


On top of the long fringe trim I added a beaded trim......


I really am loving my lamp....but! Yes you read it right there is a but...lol...I'm thinking I might want to white wash the lamp with Annie Sloan white chalk paint, and add gold accents...hummmm....what do you think, I would really like your opinion. thank you my friends....wishing you all a Very Happy Valentines Day.

My reupholstered sofa!

Hello sweet peeps, last month I had my sofa professionally reupholstered in a creamy tone on tone damask fabric, I'm totally loving the new look, I still have the side chair to be done as well but as we all know how expensive it is to have them professionally reupholster, so I have been saving up my pennies...lol....take a look and please let me know what you think???....


This fabric is sooo yummy it's like velvet.....


Love all the pillows.....

Pillow love!

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays, I'm in awe how fast it all went by...
Keeping this post short and sweet, I wanted to share this gorgeous pillow my sweet girl gifted me for Chritmas, I love the beading and the soft fabric it's just so yummy...
