These are faux candy hearts, it use to be a garland, I cute them out and added them to my new garland....




Pretty heart ribbon....




I used light pink and a darker pink mess ribbon....




I added the ribbon to a white garland with lights, so at nite it looks so pretty...




Hi friends, I have wanted to make a mess deco garland for a long while now, I have seen them all over blogland, etsy, ebay etc....
Well finally I got my nerve up and purchased the items I needed and wanted, I'm very pleased at how it turned out, not so bad for my first time....lol.... It's sitting pretty on my mantle ;) along with a couple of my favorite Mark Roberts fairies....I love Mark Roberts fairies for me they are soooo addictive, I just can't resist them....lol....they are just so whimsical and cute, I also have them on my small Valentine tree!

These cute pink cherubs use to be gold but with a little pink paint and lots of glitter whaaa laaa now they fit right into my pink Valentine theme decor....




Oh and are these butterflies not gorgeous, I just fell in love with them when I spotted them....




Hi friends, I hope you all enjoyed your holidays....
I just can't believe how fast it went by....
I just wanted to share some of my Valentine decor with my bloggy gal pals, I decorated my small white tree with roses, hearts, fairies,cherubs and pearl beaded garland ;)
I'm enjoying how pretty she turned out!
The pink garland is one that I have had for a couple of years now, and have use it on many of my decorating projects, this year she is sitting pretty on top of my dinning room mirror....
I added pink roses, butterflies and heart ornies on each end with pretty bows to complete the look, I'm still not done with my decorating next and last is my fire place mantle, but that will have to wait for next time so please stay tuned, and come back soon ;)

Christmas in my kitchen!!!

Hi bloggy gal pals, thanks for stopping by as I know how busy you all are for this time of year ;)
I just wanted to give you all a peek into my kitchen christmas decor, I just love my new baking Santa emagine my surprise and joy when I spotted this cutie while out shopping with my mom and friend....I nearly jump up and down with glee....heehee ok so I did and a happy dance to boot....haha!
He is sitting on top of my table along with my gingerbread couple, it just makes such a pretty display/centerpiece ;)
I also purchased the cute pink Santa and reindeer and they are opposite sides of the sink, if I do say so myself they look adorable....
The pink candycane ornies I purchased for 50 cents and painted the red to pink added plenty of glitter cause I loveeee glitter and whaaaalaaaaa pink candycane ;)

Hello ladies, I have no idea what's going on with blogger, but mine thinks it can do magic by pulling a disappearing act....errrr.....this is the second time I'm writing this post.....well now that I have vented I feel better.....ha!!!!!
This year I wanted to go with a candyland theme in my small cozy kitchen, so for today I'm sharing my new white three foot tree.
I don't know about you gals but I love christmas trees in an urn, my main tree I purchased years ago came inside an urn base and I just love how elegant it looks....
I had an urn with pretty flowers, but I removed the flowers for now and placed my new tree inside....yeah me I just love how it looks with all the yummy ornaments, I had so much fun hunting for all my goodies to add to my tree, some already came in pink and others I painted, but all in all I think it looks pretty, what da ya think?...
I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful time of year, but please let's remember what this season is all about caring and sharing for the less fortunate, please remember the victims of hurricane Sandy and continue to pray for them.

Sorry I have been M.I.A but as most of you may know we here on Long Island are still trying to recover after hurricane Sandy....
I have friends who lost everything, and my heart is still aching for them.....
We are trying hard to get back to normal, and with that being said, I did get some christmas decorating done, I'm still tweaking here and there but for the most part, I'm almost done....
I hope you enjoy what I have shared with you so far, hopefully ill manage to take more pic's soon....but for now enjoy your visit!
