Tassel Love!

Hello friends :) hope you ladies had a beautiful Mother's Day!
What is it about a fluffy,frilly pretty tassel that makes me smile ;) could it be how they add a touch of whimsy or elegance to your home....




This pretty tassel I made alllllll by myself ;)
I happen to love the Maltese dog breed, hubby surprised me one day with this cute figurine of a maltese you see in the above pic ;) and below, this sweetie is hanging out on my bathroom vanity......




I decided I would try my hand at making a tassel! Since forever I have been wanting to try my hand at making my own tassel. I decided to use my Maltese figurine for the base ;) with some pretty ribbons and trims I had on hand,I went to town fluffing this cutie up ;)




Love how frilly and fluffy she turned out ;)

This cutie is hanging on my grandfather clock in my living room!




Well ladies do you also love Tassels, I would love to see them ;)

Bird cage love!

Hi friends,today I would like to share a gift that the sweet hubby purchase for me for Easter, I bet you thought It was for Mother's Day.....teeheehee......I'm late to show off this beauty, oh well better late then never they say ;)




The hubby sure knows my taste, I just love that man ;)

It really is a nice size, I placed one of my compote bowl so you can get an idea how nice a tall it really is....




And here she is in all her glory....lol....
I place her in my bed room on a pretty cherub pedestal and it looks so pretty I'm loving my sweet hubby's gift ;)

A little bit of this and that!

Hello friends, nothing really new happening around here, but I just wanted to share with you a little project I did, I took a compote I had laying around my home and spray painted it white, I know you have seen these before, it really did need a little love and care as it was that tarnish gold brassy color, and although I liked it that way,I was aiming for a fresh bright white color ;) any who when I purchase it, it was missing the prisms...
What to do.....hummmm....




I remembered I had some inexpensive candle holders, I was not using so I borrowed them and added them to my pretty white painted compote...




I love the way it swags don't you ;) so romantic.....




Love the way the white paint makes the details just pop!!!




Another little project was adding these gorgeous pink rose garland I had and draping it around my favorite bird house added pretty ribbon and taaaadaaaa she is all dressed up for the spring season and summer too....




Loveeeee pink roses, nothing says romance to me more then pink roses...

Added a cute little birds nest and call it done...

Romantic perfume bottle!

Hello friends, my sweet hubby purchased the glass perfume bottle for me @ Michaels craft store, but of course I could not leave it alone......




I purchased the beautiful flowers from the very talented Dana @ Lambs and Ivy and just glued them on....now this cutie sits pretty on my bathroom vanity ;) I really love the way it turned out!

Hi friends, I won this beauty you see below on ebay, I really didn't care for the pic it came with....




Look at all the pretty details on the frame.....yummo......it's a soft off white with gold highlights on the raised details.......just perfect!




Ok back to the pic....I tend to get carried away...lol....so like I was saying, I really didn't care much for the pic inside of the frame....hummmm.....what to do for a quick fix....ohhh I got it...I had this pretty fabric just sitting around, I cut a piece of the fabric and insert it into the frame...




And taaaa daaaaa.....a pretty print for my pretty new frame.....I just love this fabric....hummmm not sure what the name of the material is but any who, I purchased it on ebay, I just love me some ebay...teeheehee.......




it will do for now what I really want is a rose print for this beauty...hummmmm Mother's Day is just around the block.....well friends thanks so much for stopping by! I just love and appreciate your sweet and kind comments.

Cute bird house.....

Hello friends, I have been sprucing up for spring...
I added this cute floral topper to my pretty bird house I purchased from the sweet Rebecca @ A gathering place....



I sat her on a cute candle holder I had at hand for some needed height.....




The sweet floral topper can be removed at anytime, I love the umbre ribbon bows I made to tie it to my bird house, can you say yummy....lol




Pretty roses of course.....




Look at the sweet green bird with ribbon tail, so pretty! Well friends I hope your enjoying these sweet pretty breezy spring days......




Before we know it those hot and humid summer days will be here....yuck....I'm sorry to say and please don't hate me, but I soooo don't like summer and all the heat.....
